From my first serious exposure to the world of Photography, being creative, I knew that I had found something special. jafphotography was established in 2013 and although the first photos I took were just of friends, family and snapshots of the world around me, I soon went on to shoot Landscapes, Street Photography and more.
I (jafphotography) have always been interested in what lies behind a shot and what people will feel when they see a photograph. Look at the photo here as an example of my work and continue to look on the web site today, to see and learn more about what I do.

I try to capture individuals in their own lives and surroundings. With this type of approach to portrait photography I have found that it offers clients a more realistic, comfortable and less self conscious, intimidating experience, with an appreciated and natural end result.
Photographs are taken in both monochrome and colour in order to offer clients a preference.

Shooting landscapes that are not only lovely to look at but can also 'talk' to us because they say more than what is just visible to the eye, is captivating for me.
To be able to take ourselves into the image of the landscape photograph whether it be dramatic or peaceful is proof that it touches us in some way.
